Manager Cobble Hill

Maddy Oldham

Hello! I am Maddy Oldham and I am the Studio Manager for Cobble Hill as well as the Manager of Community and School Partnerships NYC.

I graduated from Hofstra University in 2021 with a dual degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and Drama and am a certified teacher in New York State birth-6th grade in all subjects. I spent time teaching in the Long Island public schools system, creating and facilitating character development curriculum for the 12.14 Foundation back home in CT, and working in different performance mediums before settling in NYC. I was always seeking a career at the intersection of arts and education and found a great match with PLAYDAY! I have grown from instructor to assistant manager to manager within Playday and feel so much gratitude for the support of the team. I am excited to continue my work within Playday by developing our community and school partnerships and showcasing our communities through special events. I began those collaborations in Cobble Hill and look forward to expanding that across NYC.

When not at PLAYDAY, you can find me at a concert with friends, cooking a new recipe, making art, reading in the park, or taking a long walk to explore neighborhoods in the city.

I am passionate about SEL (social-emotional learning) and how art serves as an avenue to inspire confidence and spark curiosity in students. I am thrilled to be part of an organization that provides the space to foster that creativity and help students flourish.
